Equipment and Amnestics
This page will outline the various equipment that comes with psychology as well as the regulations and information on said equipment. This will explain the lab in ScD, the ward, and much more of the equipment used for psychology.
To use lab equipment and create mnemonics, you must be a Nurse+ that has attended a lab event.
You may only use this when ScD is occupied or absent.
You must have a Resident+ as a supervisor.
To administer amnestics and perform psychology-related appointments, you must be a Resident+ that has a psychology certification.

Amnestic Internship
Members of the Institute undergo constant stress and strain during their wide variety of duties on-site. As part of the Medical Department's duties, the Department has been tasked with assessing and keeping track of all on-site personnel, and Class-D.
Nurses within the Medical Department are able to shadow Residents and Physicians to learn more about how to use amnestics and treat those that undergoing symptoms of instability.
Nurses may participate in the program by passing an Amnestic Laboratory Course hosted by Medical Command.
- This safety course will teach them how to properly handle amnestics, the regulations around the equipment, as well as how to create amnestics. This is a required lecture in order to shadow a Resident or Physician. It is also required for the Psychology Certification.
Procedure
Request to shadow a certified Resident or Physician.
“Hey! I have my amnestic safety course! Can I shadow you in the ward today?”
If they say yes, than go to step two.
If they say no, than find a different Resident or Physician.
Shadowing a Resident or Physician can include the following duties or assignments.
The Resident or Physician will be required to monitor and instruct their shadowing Nurse, providing task for them to do and assist them with.

Locating and retrieving patients that show signs of instability
This includes assisting Military Police in convincing people to report to the Ward.
Keeping track of symptoms listed by patients, or assisting with recording keeping during appointments
Moving and retrieving barrels
In rare cases making amnestics when SCD are unavaliable to.
Section 1 > Lab Equipment
The lab contains various pieces of equipment that will help you in creating amnestics or getting amnestics that have been pre-packaged. This will show you what those equipment pieces do and how to use them.
Please remember that the Scientific Department is the main force in making Amnestics.
Chemical Cabinet
This stores any chemicals that have already been placed in it. These save across servers. Chemicals can be packaged into spray bottles, grenades (which you shouldn't have), and barrels.
You should only be grabbing amnestics out of here or indgridients to make amnestics.
Mixer
This is used to mix 2 or more chemicals together. Place both of them in and activate the mixer. This may take up to 4 minutes.
Centrifuge
The centrifuge can separate the makings of a chemical. Place up to 4 chemicals inside and activate it and wait. This may take up to 4 minutes.
Heater
The heater can heat a chemical. Place the chemical on it, actiavet the heater, and wait. This dosen't take long.
Flash Freeze
This can freeze up to 1 chemical at a time. Place the chemical in it, activate the canister, and wait. This dosen't take long.
Chemical Spray
This is a spray bottle that will disperse chemicals that you have put in it. You will see an outline when you can apply it to someone. You can package any chemical by going to the chemical locker.

Test Tube
Empty test tube to grab chemicals with. Grab these from any test tube rack. Individuals may hold up to 3 test tubes, empty or full.
Barrel
This is used when you want to disperse a chemical to a larger crowd or to duplicate chemicals.
You may only use this when you need to adminster amnesitcs to a group.
Or you need to duplicate chemicals.
Section 2 > Ward Equipment
The ward is used to make appointments for patients who have shown signs of insanity or patients who have requested to be evaluated.
Rorschach Projector
This is used to test the sanity of patients. It used a set of 4 inkblots, which are ambiguous enough that different people will see different things.
Beds and Furniture
These may be used to perform mental evaluations and for patients that are not quite stable to get back to duties.
Padded White Room
This is only to be used for the following reasons:
To apply amnestics using a barrel.
Patients that harm themselves or others.

George is our on-call nurse that provides us with equipment to store/handle amnestics as well as pepper spray.
Section 3 > Amnestics
Amnestics are used to treat patients that have different levels of insanity. They are the key to the cure for insanity, and they are primarily handled by the Medical Department.
Class-A "General Retrograde"
These are primarily used for patients who have shown minimal signs of insanity. Please refer to the document on Amnestics and symptoms for more information.
Class-B "Regressive Retrograde"
These are primarily used for patients who have shown moderate signs of insanity. Please refer to the document on Amnestics and symptoms for more information.
Class-D "Progressive Retrograde"
These are primarily used for patients who have shown SEVERE signs of insanity. Please refer to the document on Amnestics and symptoms for more information.
This is only to be used for SEVERE cases.
